What you will learn

  • Audit your current retail tech stack and map where AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) fit into day-to-day operations across product, marketing, and service functions
  • Conduct a store data audit to identify what customer and inventory data you own, where it lives, and what can safely be fed into AI tools without violating privacy obligations
  • Build a repeatable prompt template system to generate SEO-optimized product titles, descriptions, and meta tags for 50+ SKUs in a single session
  • Design a tiered response framework using AI to draft replies to the 20 most common customer inquiries (shipping, returns, sizing, availability) while flagging escalation triggers for human agents
  • Build a 90-day promotional content calendar using AI, aligned to Canadian retail peaks (Boxing Day, back-to-school, Thanksgiving in October) with platform-specific copy variations for email, Instagram, and Google Ads
  • Conduct an AI-assisted keyword research session targeting Canadian search intent (including bilingual and regional terms) and map priority keywords to existing product and collection pages
  • Use AI (ChatGPT Advanced Data Analysis or Claude with CSV upload) to analyze 12 months of sales data and surface seasonal demand patterns, slow-moving SKUs, and reorder timing recommendations
  • Develop a store-level AI governance framework covering tool approval, data handling rules, staff training requirements, and incident response — benchmarked against emerging Canadian federal AI legislation (Bill C-27 / AIDA)
