Policy

Accessibility

Lumera Learning aims to provide a clear, usable, and accessible digital and instructional experience for prospective participants, organizational buyers, current learners, instructors, and administrative contacts.

01

Digital accessibility approach

Lumera Learning aims to use readable typography, structured headings, meaningful page titles, clear contrast, consistent navigation, accessible form patterns, descriptive links, and plain-language content organization across the website.

02

Instructional access

Lumera Learning programs are generally designed for live online or cohort-based delivery. Participants who require accessibility-related support are encouraged to contact Lumera Learning before a cohort, workshop, event, or registration deadline so the team can review practical options within the delivery format and program requirements.

03

Accommodation process

Accommodation requests may involve scheduling considerations, access to session materials, communication preferences, participation methods, or adjustments to practical exercises where appropriate. Lumera Learning reviews requests in context and may ask for additional information needed to understand the barrier and identify a reasonable next step.

04

Limits and third-party platforms

Some program experiences may involve third-party meeting platforms, AI tools, automation services, document systems, or event technologies. Lumera Learning will make reasonable efforts to support accessible participation, but certain accessibility features may depend on the capabilities and settings of those third-party services.

05

Ongoing improvement

Accessibility is treated as an ongoing practice. Lumera Learning may revise site structure, visual presentation, form patterns, downloadable materials, registration workflows, instructional assets, and communication practices over time to improve clarity, usability, and compatibility.

06

Feedback and response

If you experience a barrier while using the website or preparing to participate in a Lumera Learning program, contact admissions@lumeralearning.ca with a description of the issue, the page or program involved, and any relevant assistive technology or access need. Lumera Learning will review the request and identify a practical response where feasible.

07

Alternative formats

Where practical, Lumera Learning may provide information in an alternative format or through a direct administrative communication channel when a website page, form, or downloadable resource is not usable for a particular individual.
