Refund & Cancellation Policy

Lumera Learning applies practical cancellation, transfer, rescheduling, and refund guidelines to public program registrations, workshops, private cohorts, and custom organizational training engagements.

01

Public registrations

Individuals registered for public cohorts, certificate programs, or workshops may be eligible for transfer, rescheduling, credit, or partial refund depending on the program format, the timing of the request, seat allocation, instructor preparation, access to materials, and administrative commitments already made.

02

Corporate cohorts

Custom corporate, department, or enterprise programs are scheduled around agreed planning, instructor time, curriculum preparation, stakeholder coordination, and delivery windows. Cancellation, rescheduling, substitution, deposit treatment, and payment obligations for private cohorts are confirmed through the applicable proposal, statement of work, invoice, or written agreement.

03

Notice and timing

Refund or transfer options generally depend on how much notice is provided before the scheduled start of a program or cohort. Requests made after materials have been released, seats have been reserved, instructors have been assigned, or delivery has begun may be limited or unavailable.

04

Non-attendance and substitutions

Non-attendance does not automatically create a right to a refund. Where practical, Lumera Learning may permit participant substitutions, transfers to a later cohort, or administrative credit, particularly for employer-sponsored participation. Available options depend on the program type, timing, cohort capacity, and notice provided.

05

Program postponement or cancellation by Lumera Learning

Lumera Learning may postpone, reschedule, combine, or cancel a cohort where enrollment, instructor availability, operational requirements, or other circumstances make the planned delivery impractical. If Lumera Learning cancels a paid public cohort before delivery begins, Lumera Learning will communicate available options, which may include transfer, credit, or refund depending on the circumstances.

06

Promotional pricing and custom terms

Discounted registrations, employer-sponsored seats, bundled training, custom workshops, and enterprise arrangements may be subject to specific terms that differ from general public cohort guidelines. Any specific written terms provided for an engagement take precedence over the general language on this page.

07

Administrative fees and incurred costs

Lumera Learning may consider administrative processing, payment fees, instructor preparation, materials access, reserved capacity, and other incurred costs when assessing refund, credit, or transfer requests.

08

Administrative discretion

Because cohort-based training involves scheduling, preparation, and instructional commitments, refund decisions may vary by program format. Lumera Learning will communicate applicable terms as clearly as possible during registration, program confirmation, invoicing, or contracting.
